Growing Women Volunteers for Education

 Last March 22, 2010 at Macapagal Center, the Launching of the BHEMM Project joining the Nation’s Women’s Month Celebration was held. It was attended by BHEMM volunteers from the 4 barangay leagues of Libon namely St. James, Lakeside, Palayan and Big Six, also lady Barangay Captains and Barangay Kagawad.

LIBON FINALLY BAGS THE MOST COVETED

         KADUNONG Awards Best Practices for Education is a program of the Province of Albay under PROJECT-EQUAL of Gov. Joey Salceda. This was participated in by 18 Local Goverments (15 towns and 3 cities) in the Province of Albay. Our official entry was the Basic Higher Education Municipal Model (THE BHEMM PROJECT) which covered all the different projects, program, activities that the Local Government of Libon pursue for education.
